The Startek L0 FM220U is a compact, single-finger optical fingerprint scanner designed for biometric identification and authentication applications. It uses a CMOS optical sensor with 500 DPI resolution and provides reliable fingerprint image capture through a USB 2.0 high-speed interface.
Its compact 80 × 41 × 40 mm design and approximately 100 g weight make it suitable for office desktops, banking counters, attendance systems and other biometric-enabled applications. The device supports standard fingerprint image and template formats used in biometric software development.
Important: The FM220U is an L0-generation device. According to the manufacturer's current product information, L0 support for Aadhaar-related services ended after 30 June 2025. Therefore, this product should not be marketed as a currently supported Aadhaar authentication device.
